The Marshall Kilburn III is a portable Bluetooth speaker for moving between rooms, the balcony and the garden. It measures 273 x 169 x 150 mm, weighs 2.8 kg and comes in Black and Brass with a velvet-lined carry strap. A 4-inch woofer and two 2-inch full-range drivers sit in a bass reflex cabinet, and Marshall's True Stereophonic layout spreads stereo sound all around it, with Dynamic Loudness keeping the balance as the volume changes.
A full charge gives more than 50 hours of playtime, and 20 minutes on a 30W USB-C PD charger adds about 8 hours. The USB-C port can also charge your phone. Bluetooth 5.3 with Auracast keeps two devices connected at once, a 3.5 mm AUX input takes wired sources, and the brass top panel has volume, bass and treble knobs, a media jog and an M-button for EQ presets.
IP54 covers dust and splashes, not rain or a dip in the pool. There is no microphone for calls, no Wi-Fi and no voice assistant, and no charger in the box. At 2.8 kg it is better carried from room to room than packed in a bag.
