The Apple M4 chip has a 10-core CPU with 4 performance and 6 efficiency cores, a 10-core GPU with hardware-accelerated ray tracing and a 16-core Neural Engine for Apple Intelligence. This model has 16GB of unified memory and a 512GB SSD. It can run up to three displays. On the back are three Thunderbolt 4 ports, HDMI and Gigabit Ethernet, and the front has two USB-C ports and a headphone jack.
The box holds only the Mac mini and a 1.8 m power cord, so you need your own display, keyboard and mouse. Every USB port is USB-C, so older USB-A accessories need an adapter, and there is no SD card slot. Memory and storage cannot be upgraded later. The power button sits on the underside, towards the back.
Connect a display to the HDMI port or a Thunderbolt port, plug in a USB or Bluetooth keyboard and mouse, and connect the power cord from the box. Press the power button on the underside, towards the back. Setup Assistant then walks you through Wi-Fi, your Apple Account and Migration Assistant, which can copy your files from another Mac or a Windows PC.
Mac mini and a power cord (1.8 m). A display, keyboard and mouse are not included.
