The Apple AirPods 5 with Wireless Charging Case are open-fit wireless earbuds with Active Noise Cancellation that Apple rates up to 1.5 times stronger than AirPods 4 with Active Noise Cancellation. The H2 headphone chip also runs Transparency mode, Adaptive Audio and Conversation Awareness, which turns your media down when you start talking to someone.
A redesigned multiport acoustic architecture, a custom high-excursion driver and next-generation Adaptive EQ shape the sound, and Personalised Spatial Audio adds dynamic head tracking. This model adds volume swipe: slide a finger up or down the stem to change the volume, and press it for playback, calls and listening modes. Voice Isolation keeps calls clear, and Live Translation and hands-free Siri AI work with a compatible iPhone where Apple offers them.
Apple rates up to 5 hours of listening with noise cancelling on, or 7 hours with it off, and up to 22 hours with the case. The case charges over USB-C, on an Apple Watch charger or a Qi-certified pad, and can play a sound through Find My. These open-fit earbuds have no silicone tips, so they block less noise than sealed designs. They are rated IP57, and no cable comes in the box.
Charge the case with a USB-C cable and power adapter (neither is in the box), or place it on an Apple Watch charger or a Qi-certified wireless charger. To pair with an iPhone, turn on Bluetooth, open the case next to the unlocked iPhone and tap Connect when the setup card appears; they then work with your other Apple devices signed in to the same Apple Account. On an Android phone or Windows laptop, open the case with both earbuds inside, double-tap the front of the case until the status light flashes white, then choose AirPods in that device's Bluetooth settings.

Apple's One (1) Year Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of original retail purchase, in addition to your rights under consumer law. Keep your invoice, as Apple may ask for proof of purchase.
