The Redmi Note 17 Pro 5G in Cloud Blue has a 6.83-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with 12-bit colour, a refresh rate of up to 120Hz and up to 3500 nits peak brightness for outdoor use. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 covers the front and the optical fingerprint sensor sits under the screen. It is 8.6 mm thick, weighs 226 g and has a matte finish.
The 9000mAh silicon-carbon battery charges at 67W with the charger supplied, and can charge other devices by cable at up to 22.5W. Xiaomi says it keeps 80% of its capacity after 1600 charge cycles, a figure certified by TUV SUD. On the back is a 50MP main camera with OIS and an 8MP ultrawide, and the front camera is 16MP. Dual speakers support Dolby Atmos.
Inside is the Snapdragon 6s Gen 4, built on a 4nm process, with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It runs Xiaomi HyperOS 3 on Android 16 with 4 years of OS and 6 years of security updates. Video recording tops out at 1080p and 30fps on every camera, Wi-Fi is the older dual-band 802.11ac standard, and Underwater Mode arrives later by software update.
Use the SIM eject tool from the box to open the SIM tray and fit your SIM card. Charge with the 67W adapter and USB Type-C cable from the box, switch the phone on and register your fingerprint on the in-display sensor during setup. Fit the protective case from the box before use.
