The Redmi Note 15 SE 5G in Frosted White is the Special Edition model in the Redmi Note 15 series, built around a 5800mAh silicon-carbon battery in a body that is 7.4 mm thick and weighs 178 g. The 45W charger comes in the box, the phone can charge other devices over a cable at 18W, and Xiaomi rates the battery for 1600 charge cycles.
The front is a 6.77-inch (17.2 cm) curved AMOLED display that refreshes at up to 120Hz and reaches 3200 nits at peak. On the back, a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 lens sits next to a 2MP depth camera and records 4K video at 30fps. The front camera is 20MP, and dual speakers support Dolby Atmos.
Inside is the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, running Xiaomi HyperOS 3 on Android 15, with 4 years of OS updates and 6 years of security patches. A microSD card of up to 1TB takes the place of the second SIM, Wi-Fi tops out at Wi-Fi 5, the main camera has no optical stabilisation, and IP65 and IP66 cover dust and water jets, not submersion.
Use the SIM eject tool from the box to open the tray. The first slot takes a nano-SIM, and the second takes either another nano-SIM or a microSD card. Charge with the adapter and USB Type-C cable from the box, switch the phone on and register your fingerprint on the in-display sensor during setup. The protective case from the box fits straight on.
