The Redmi Note 14 Pro+ 5G in Titan Black has a 6.67-inch (16.94 cm) 1.5K curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, 3000 nits peak brightness and Dolby Vision. Gorilla Glass Victus 2 covers the front, and the phone is rated IP68, with IP69 support listed by Xiaomi India. This colour has a glass back (Gorilla Glass 7i) and is 8.75 mm thick and 210 g.
The main camera uses the 50MP Light Hunter 800 sensor (1/1.55-inch, f/1.6) with optical image stabilisation. Next to it sit a 50MP telephoto with 2.5x optical zoom for portraits and an 8MP ultra-wide, and the front camera is 20MP. Rear video goes up to 4K at 30fps. Dual stereo speakers support Dolby Atmos, and NFC and an IR blaster are built in.
Inside is the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 on a 4nm process with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The 6200mAh silicon-carbon battery charges at 90W with the adapter in the box. Some limits: there are two nano-SIM slots and no card slot, zoom past 2.5x is hybrid rather than optical, and Xiaomi India promises 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates from the 2024 launch.
Use the SIM eject tool from the box to open the tray, which takes one or two nano-SIM cards. Charge with the 90W adapter and USB Type-C cable from the box, switch the phone on and register your fingerprint on the in-display sensor during setup. The protective case from the box fits straight on.
