The Redmi Note 14 5G in Phantom Purple is a dual SIM 5G phone from Xiaomi India, launched in December 2024. It is 7.99 mm thick and weighs 190 g. The display sits under Corning Gorilla Glass 5, and the body is rated IP64 against dust, spills and light rain.
The 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED display runs at up to 120Hz and reaches 2100 nits at peak, with an in-display fingerprint sensor and wet touch support for damp fingers. On the back, a 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera with OIS works with an 8MP ultra-wide and a 2MP macro camera, and the front camera is 20MP. The phone also has dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, a 3.5mm jack and an IR blaster.
Inside is the 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 7025-Ultra with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, running Xiaomi HyperOS on Android 14 with 2 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates. The 5110mAh battery charges at 45W with the charger in the box. Keep in mind that the microSD card shares the second SIM slot, video tops out at 1080p and Wi-Fi is Wi-Fi 5.
Use the SIM eject tool from the box to open the tray. It takes two nano-SIMs, or one nano-SIM and a microSD card. Charge with the 45W adapter and USB Type-C cable from the box, switch the phone on and register your fingerprint on the in-display sensor during setup. The protective case from the box fits straight on.
