The Redmi A7 Pro 5G in Black runs on the UNISOC T8300, a 6nm octa-core chip with 5G on both SIM slots. This model has 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. The 6.9-inch HD+ screen refreshes at up to 120Hz, reaches 800 nits and carries TUV Rheinland low blue light, flicker free and circadian friendly certifications.
On the back is a 32MP dual AI camera with Ultra HD and Portrait modes, and the front camera is 8MP. The 6300mAh battery charges at 15W with the adapter in the box and can top up another device over a cable at 7.5W. It runs Android 16 with Xiaomi HyperOS 3, with Google Gemini and Circle to Search, and Xiaomi India promises 4 years of Android updates and 6 years of security updates.
It keeps a 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio, and unlocks with a side fingerprint sensor. The screen is HD+, not a sharper panel, and charging tops out at 15W. A microSD card of up to 2TB uses the second SIM slot, so it is two SIMs or one SIM and a card. IP52 covers light splashes only, and it weighs 210 g.
Use the SIM eject tool from the box to open the tray. Fit one or two nano-SIMs, or one nano-SIM and a microSD card, as the second slot is shared. Charge with the 15W adapter and USB Type-C cable from the box, switch the phone on, sign in with your Google account and register your fingerprint on the side sensor during setup.
Redmi A7 Pro 5G, 15W adapter, USB Type-C cable, SIM eject tool, quick start guide and warranty card.
Xiaomi India covers the phone for 1 year and the accessories in the box for 6 months from the date of purchase, for manufacturing defects. Keep your invoice for service at Xiaomi authorised service centres.
