The Redmi 17C 5G in Purple Dawn has a 6.9-inch HD+ display that refreshes at up to 120Hz and reaches 810 nits in high brightness mode. It carries TUV Rheinland low blue light, flicker free and circadian friendly certifications, and Wet Touch 2.0 keeps the screen responsive with damp or oily fingers. It is 7.99 mm thick and weighs 211 g.
The 6000mAh battery charges at 33W with the charger supplied, and can charge earbuds or a watch by cable at up to 10W. Xiaomi says it keeps at least 80% of its capacity after 1000 charge cycles. On the back is a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 lens plus an auxiliary lens, and the front camera is 8MP. A 3.5mm headphone jack and FM radio are included.
Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage. It runs Xiaomi HyperOS 3 on Android 16 with 2 years of OS and 4 years of security updates. The screen is HD+ rather than a sharper panel, video recording tops out at 1080p, and IP64 covers dust and splashes only.
Use the SIM eject tool from the box to open the tray and fit your SIM cards, plus a microSD card if you want more storage. Charge with the 33W adapter and USB Type-C cable from the box, switch the phone on and register your fingerprint on the side sensor during setup.
