The Redmi 15 5G in Frosted White has a large 6.9-inch FHD+ LCD that refreshes at up to 144Hz and reaches 850 nits at peak, with TUV Rheinland low blue light and flicker-free certification. It weighs 217 g, is 8.4 mm thick and is rated IP64 for dust and splashes.
The 7000mAh silicon-carbon battery charges at 33W with the charger supplied, and the phone can charge other devices over a cable at up to 18W. On the back is a 50MP main camera with an f/1.75 aperture, and the front camera is 8MP. There is also an IR blaster, so it can work as a remote for TVs and air conditioners.
Inside is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage; a microSD card fits in the second SIM slot. It launched with Xiaomi HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, and Xiaomi India promises 2 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates. Unlocking is by the side fingerprint sensor.
Use the SIM eject tool from the box to open the tray. Fit one or two nano-SIMs, or one nano-SIM and a microSD card, as the second slot is shared. Charge with the 33W adapter and USB Type-C cable from the box, switch the phone on and register your fingerprint on the side sensor during setup.
