Xiaomi Redmi 11 Prime 5G Smartphone, 4GB RAM, 64GB Storage - Meadow Green

The Redmi 11 Prime 5G in Meadow Green is a dual SIM 5G phone from Xiaomi India, launched in September 2022. Both SIM slots can stay on 5G standby, and a separate microSD slot takes cards of up to 512GB, so you keep both SIMs. The body is 8.9 mm thick, weighs 200 g and has a matte textured back that resists fingerprints.

The 6.58-inch FHD+ display runs at up to 90Hz and switches between 30, 50, 60 and 90Hz to suit what is on screen, under Corning Gorilla Glass. On the back, a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 lens works with a 2MP depth camera for portraits, and the front camera is 8MP. There is a 3.5mm headphone jack with Hi-Res Audio certification, FM radio and an IR blaster.

Inside is the 7nm Dimensity 700 with 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 64GB of UFS 2.2 storage, running MIUI 13 on Android 12 out of the box. The 5000mAh battery charges at up to 18W, although the charger in the box is rated 22.5W. Video tops out at 1080p, Wi-Fi is Wi-Fi 5, and Xiaomi does not list a dust or water resistance rating.

Use the SIM eject tool from the box to open the tray. It takes two nano-SIMs plus a microSD card in its own slot. Charge with the adapter and USB Type-C cable from the box, switch the phone on and register your fingerprint on the side sensor during setup. The protective case from the box fits straight on.
