The Vivo Y31t 5G smartphone in Crimson Red is an everyday 5G phone made for long days and rough handling. Its 7200mAh battery is rated by vivo for up to 32 hours of video playback, and a 44W charger comes in the box. vivo says the red shade was inspired by Indian festivities.
The phone carries IP68 and IP69 ratings against dust, immersion and high-pressure water jets, and it has passed two MIL-STD-810H tests for shock and drops from 122 cm. The 6.75-inch screen runs at up to 120Hz and reaches 1250 nits. Inside are the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, running OriginOS 6 on Android 16. The 50MP main camera has an underwater mode.
The screen is LCD rather than AMOLED, with an HD+ resolution of 1608 x 720, and 120Hz only works in apps that support it. There is no memory card slot or NFC, and Bluetooth is version 4.2. vivo says the water resistance is not permanent, underwater shooting is limited to 1.5 metres in fresh water for 30 minutes, and liquid damage is not covered by the warranty. At 219 g it is on the heavy side.
