The Vivo Y31 5G smartphone in Rose Red has a quad-curved back and a metal-inspired matte frame. Rose Red is a soft pink-red gradient with a matching frame. A Dynamic Light around the cameras lights up for calls, charging and music. It is 8.39 mm thick, weighs 209 g and is rated IP68 and IP69 for dust and water.
The 6.68-inch LCD screen has a 1608 x 720 resolution, runs at up to 120Hz and reaches 1000 nits in high brightness mode. The 4nm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 comes with 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of storage, and a microSD card of up to 2TB can be added. On the back are a 50MP main camera and a 0.08MP auxiliary camera, and the front camera is 8MP. It launched with Funtouch OS 15 on Android 15.
The 6500mAh battery supports 44W FlashCharge, and the charger is in the box. The screen resolution is lower than Full HD, a memory card takes the place of the second SIM, and there is no NFC, FM radio or gyroscope. Bluetooth is version 4.2. The water ratings can wear over time, and liquid damage is not covered under warranty.

The battery health figure (more than 80% capacity after 1,600 full charge cycles) comes from vivo lab tests in a simulated environment.
IP68 and IP69 are lab ratings under IEC 60529. The resistance is not permanent and may wear over time. Use the underwater mode in fresh water only, no deeper than 1.5 metres and for up to 30 minutes at a time, and dry the USB port fully before charging. Liquid damage is not covered under warranty.
