The Vivo X300 Pro 5G in Dune Gold is a camera-led phone with a pale sand gold glass fibre back and an aluminium alloy frame. It is 7.99 mm thick and weighs 226 g. The 6.78-inch AMOLED screen runs at 1 to 120Hz and reaches 4500 nits local peak brightness.
The rear cameras carry ZEISS optics: a 200MP APO periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS, a 50MP Sony LYT-828 main camera with OIS and a 50MP autofocus ultra-wide camera. The front camera is 50MP with autofocus. Video goes up to 4K at 120 fps in Dolby Vision. It also works with the vivo ZEISS 2.35x Telephoto Extender (sold separately).
Inside is the 3nm MediaTek Dimensity 9500 with 16GB of LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage, running OriginOS 6 on Android 16 with 5 years of OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates (vivo India). The 6510mAh battery charges at up to 90W with the charger in the box, or 40W wirelessly. There is no microSD slot, no 3.5mm headphone jack and no FM radio, and no wireless charger in the box. IP68 and IP69 do not make it waterproof: do not charge it wet.
Use the eject tool from the box to open the SIM tray and fit one or two Nano-SIM cards. Charge with the 90W USB power adapter and Type-C cable from the box, switch the phone on, and register your fingerprint on the 3D ultrasonic in-display sensor during setup. The protective film is already applied and the protective case is in the box.
