The Vivo V70 Elite 5G in Passion Red has a deep red glass back and an aluminium frame. It is 7.59 mm thick and weighs 194 g. The 6.59-inch (16.74 cm) AMOLED screen has a 2750 x 1260 resolution, runs at up to 120Hz and reaches 5000 nits local peak brightness.
All three main cameras and the front camera carry ZEISS optics. On the back are a 50MP main camera with OIS (f/1.88), a 50MP telephoto with OIS, 3x optical zoom and up to 100x digital zoom, and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. The front camera is 50MP with autofocus. Video goes up to 4K at 60fps. The 6500mAh battery charges at up to 90W with the charger in the box and supports bypass charging.
Inside is the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 with 8GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage, running OriginOS 6 on Android 16. vivo India states up to 4 OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates. There is no microSD slot, no 3.5mm headphone jack, no FM radio, and vivo lists no wireless charging. IP68 and IP69 do not make it waterproof: do not charge it wet.
Use the eject tool from the box to open the SIM tray and fit one or two Nano-SIMs. Charge with the 90W charger and USB cable from the box, switch the phone on, and register your fingerprint on the in-display ultrasonic sensor during setup. The protective film is already applied: keep vivo's film, as third-party tempered glass can affect the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The case is in the box.
