- Bluetooth streaming from any phone, with a pairing button on the back once the speaker is set up on Wi-Fi.

- Trueplay room tuning (quick tuning on iOS and Android, advanced tuning on iOS only), plus bass, treble and loudness EQ in the Sonos app.
- Capacitive touch controls on top and a switch on the back that cuts power to the microphones; 182.5 mm tall and 2.02 kg.
The Sonos Era 100 is a compact Wi-Fi Bluetooth speaker that replaces the Sonos One. Two tweeters angled left and right sit beside a midwoofer that Sonos says is 25% larger than the One's, and three Class-D amplifiers drive them, so a single speaker plays in stereo. Pair two in the same room for wider separation.
Setup needs the Sonos app and your Wi-Fi. After that, stream from music apps over Wi-Fi 6, from an iPhone or Mac with Apple AirPlay 2, or from any phone with the Bluetooth button on the back. The USB-C port takes the Sonos Line-In Adapter for a turntable or CD player, and Trueplay tunes the sound to your room. A pair also works as rear surrounds with a Sonos Arc Ultra, Arc, Beam or Ray.
Sonos lists Alexa and Sonos Voice Control, but India is not on its Alexa country list and Sonos Voice Control speaks only US English and French, so plan on the touch controls, app and AirPlay. There is no battery or 3.5 mm jack, and Bluetooth works only after Wi-Fi setup. On Android, Trueplay runs quick tuning with the speaker's own microphones; advanced tuning needs an iPhone or iPad.
