The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 in Blue Shadow is 4.2 mm thin when open and 8.9 mm folded, and weighs 215 g. Open, the 8-inch QXGA+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen runs at up to 120Hz; closed, the 6.5-inch cover screen has a 21:9 shape like a regular phone. Both reach 2600 nits peak, with Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 on the cover screen and an Armor Aluminum frame.
Inside is the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. The back has a 200MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide and a 10MP 3x telephoto, and video goes up to 8K at 30fps. Each screen has its own 10MP camera. It launched with Android 16 and One UI 8, with Galaxy AI tools such as Interpreter and Photo Assist.
The 4400mAh battery is rated for up to 24 hours of video playback. There is no charger in the box, only a USB Type-C cable, and no microSD slot. The fold leaves a crease on the main screen, the IP48 rating means it is not dust-tight, and Samsung confirms there is no S Pen support.
Use the ejection pin from the box to open the SIM tray and fit a Nano-SIM, or set up an eSIM in Settings. Charge with the USB Type-C cable and a compatible USB Type-C charger, as no charger is in the box. Switch the phone on and use Samsung Smart Switch during setup to copy apps, photos and contacts from your old phone.
Galaxy Z Fold 7, USB Type-C data cable and SIM ejection pin. No charger is included.
Samsung India covers the phone for 12 months and the accessories in the box for 6 months from the date of purchase, for manufacturing defects. Keep your invoice, as Samsung asks for it at its authorised service centres.
