The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is a 5G foldable smartphone in Navy that opens like a book from a 6.3-inch cover screen into a 7.6-inch main screen. Closed, it handles calls and one-handed typing like a normal phone. Open, it runs apps side by side and takes the S Pen, which is sold separately.
Both Dynamic AMOLED 2X screens refresh at up to 120Hz and reach 2600 nits at peak. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy runs with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. On the back are a 50MP main camera, a 10MP 3x telephoto and a 12MP ultra-wide, and Galaxy AI tools such as Circle to Search and Live Translate are built in. Samsung promises 7 generations of Android upgrades.
At 239 g and 12.1 mm folded, it is chunkier than a regular phone, and the main screen has a crease down the middle that shows at an angle. IP48 covers fresh water up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes, but Samsung says the phone is not dust- or sand-resistant. The 4400mAh battery charges at 25W with an adapter that is not in the box, and there is no memory card slot or headphone jack.
