The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6 in Mint has a pale mint finish, an Enhanced Armor Aluminum frame and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back. It is 6.9 mm thin unfolded and 14.9 mm folded, and weighs 187 g. The 6.7-inch FHD+ main screen runs at up to 120Hz, and the 3.4-inch FlexWindow outside shows widgets, messages and a camera preview without opening the phone.
Inside is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, cooled by the first vapour chamber Samsung has fitted to a Z Flip. The back has a 50MP wide camera with OIS and a 12MP ultra wide. Half folded, FlexCam with Auto Zoom frames hands-free shots, and video records in 4K at 60fps. The main screen camera is 10MP.
The 4000mAh battery is rated for up to 23 hours of video playback. The phone is rated IP48: it handles fresh water up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes, but it is not dust or sand resistant, so keep it away from the beach. There is no microSD slot, and no charger is in the box.
Use the ejection pin from the box to open the SIM tray and fit a Nano-SIM, or set up an eSIM in Settings. Charge with the USB Type-C cable and a compatible USB Type-C charger, as no charger is in the box. Open the phone, switch it on and use Samsung Smart Switch during setup to copy apps, photos and contacts from your old phone.
Galaxy Z Flip 6, USB Type-C data cable and SIM ejection pin. No charger is included.
Samsung India covers the phone for 12 months and the accessories in the box for 6 months from the date of purchase, for manufacturing defects. Keep your invoice, as Samsung asks for it at its authorised service centres.
