The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 5G is a foldable smartphone in Cream that opens to a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X main screen with a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate. Folded, it is 86.4 mm tall, and the 1.9-inch cover screen shows the time, notifications and widgets without opening the phone.
Half open, the hinge holds its angle in Flex mode for hands-free selfies and video calls. Closed, a double press of the side key starts Quick Shot from the cover screen. The rear pair is a 12MP wide camera with OIS and a 12MP ultra-wide, with video up to 4K at 60fps. Inside are the Snapdragon 888, 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, with Dolby Atmos stereo speakers.
This is a 2021 model: its last major update was Android 15 with One UI 7, and Samsung no longer lists it for security updates. The main screen has a crease that shows at an angle. IPX8 covers fresh water up to 1.5 metres for 30 minutes, but the phone is not dust resistant. The 3300mAh battery charges at 15W with an adapter that is not in the box, and there is no memory card slot or headphone jack.
