The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra in Cobalt Violet has a 6.9-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen that adapts from 1 to 120Hz and reaches 2600 nits. Its built-in Privacy Display hides the screen, or chosen apps and notifications, from people beside you. The 7.9 mm body uses an Armor Aluminum frame, Gorilla Armor 2 glass on the front and IP68 protection.
Inside is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 for Galaxy with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The rear has a 200MP main camera with an f/1.4 aperture, a 50MP ultra-wide, a 50MP 5x telephoto and a 10MP 3x telephoto, and video goes up to 8K. The 5000mAh battery is rated for up to 31 hours of video playback. It launched with Android 16 and One UI 8.5, with 7 OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates promised.
There is no charger in the box, only a USB Type-C cable, and storage cannot be expanded because there is no microSD slot. There is no headphone jack. The S Pen no longer has Bluetooth, so remote features such as Air actions are gone. Samsung notes that the Privacy Display slightly changes image quality when viewed from an angle.
Use the ejection pin from the box to open the SIM tray and fit a Nano-SIM, or set up an eSIM in Settings. Charge with the USB Type-C cable and a compatible USB Type-C charger, as no charger is in the box. Switch the phone on and use Samsung Smart Switch during setup to copy apps, photos and contacts from your old phone.

Samsung India covers the phone for 12 months and the accessories in the box for 6 months from the date of purchase, for manufacturing defects. Keep your invoice, as Samsung asks for it at its authorised service centres.
