The Samsung Galaxy S26+ in Black is the larger of Samsung's two standard 2026 Galaxy S phones. It is 7.3 mm thin and weighs 190 g, with an Armor Aluminum frame and Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the front and back, and it is rated IP68 for dust and water. The 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen runs at up to 120Hz and reaches 2600 nits peak.
Inside is Samsung's Exynos 2600 with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The back has a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide and a 10MP telephoto with 3x optical zoom, and video goes up to 8K at 30fps. The 12MP front camera has autofocus. It launched with Android 16 and One UI 8.5, with Galaxy AI tools such as Photo Assist.
The 4900mAh battery is rated for up to 31 hours of video playback, and Samsung says it reaches up to 69% in about 30 minutes with a compatible charger. There is no charger in the box, only a USB Type-C cable, and there is no microSD slot or headphone jack. Samsung India lists security updates for this model until 28 February 2033.
Use the ejection pin from the box to open the SIM tray and fit a Nano-SIM, or set up an eSIM in Settings. Charge with the USB Type-C cable and a compatible USB Type-C charger, as no charger is in the box. Switch the phone on and use Samsung Smart Switch during setup to copy apps, photos and contacts from your old phone.

Samsung India covers the phone for 12 months and the accessories in the box for 6 months from the date of purchase, for manufacturing defects. Keep your invoice, as Samsung asks for it at its authorised service centres.
