Samsung Galaxy M06 5G Smartphone, 4GB RAM, 128GB Storage - Blazing Black

The Samsung Galaxy M06 5G in Blazing Black is 8 mm thick and weighs 191 g, with a vertical camera strip on the back. Its 6.7-inch (17.13 cm) HD+ PLS LCD runs at up to 90Hz, which keeps scrolling smooth. Samsung says its 12 5G bands cover all Indian telecom operators.

The MediaTek Dimensity 6300 runs with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and a microSD card of up to 1.5TB fits in the second SIM slot. On the back are a 50MP main camera with an f/1.8 lens and a 2MP depth camera, and the front camera is 8MP. Video records at up to Full HD and 30fps, and Voice Focus cuts background noise on calls.

The 5000mAh battery supports 25W wired charging, but the box has only a USB Type-C cable, so the charger is bought separately. Samsung promises 4 generations of OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates. The screen is HD+ rather than Full HD, there is a single loudspeaker and no NFC, Samsung lists no water resistance rating, and the main camera has no optical stabilisation. A 3.5mm headphone jack is included.

Use the ejection pin from the box to open the SIM tray and fit one or two nano-SIM cards, or one nano-SIM and a microSD card. Charge with the USB Type-C cable and a compatible USB Type-C charger, as no charger is in the box. Switch the phone on and use Samsung Smart Switch during setup to copy apps, photos and contacts from your old phone.

Samsung India covers the phone for 12 months and the accessories in the box for 6 months from the date of purchase, for manufacturing defects. Keep your invoice, as Samsung asks for it at its authorised service centres.
