The Samsung Galaxy F62 4G in Laser Blue has a blue-to-silver Laser Gradient back, is 9.5 mm thick and weighs 218 g. Its 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Plus Infinity-O screen shows 1080 x 2400 pixels at up to 420 nits. Inside is the 7nm Samsung Exynos 9825 with Mali-G76 MP12 graphics, 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, plus a dedicated microSD slot for cards up to 1TB.
The back has a 64MP main camera, a 12MP ultra wide camera with a 123-degree view, a 5MP macro camera and a 5MP depth camera for portraits. The rear camera and the 32MP front camera both record 4K video at 30fps. The 7000mAh battery charges at 25W with the charger from the box, and reverse charging can top up another device over USB Type-C.
This is a 2021 model that works on 4G only, with no 5G. It launched with Android 11 and One UI 3.1, and Samsung India no longer lists it. Samsung lists a single speaker rather than stereo and gives no water resistance rating. It keeps a 3.5mm headphone jack, and NFC works with Samsung Pay.
Use the ejection pin from the box to open the SIM tray, which holds two nano-SIMs and a microSD card at the same time. Charge with the 25W charger and USB Type-C cable from the box. Switch the phone on and use Samsung Smart Switch during setup to copy apps, photos and contacts from your old phone, then check Settings, Software update for the latest version.
Galaxy F62, 25W travel adapter, USB Type-C to Type-C data cable, SIM ejection pin and quick start guide.
Samsung India covers the phone for 12 months and the accessories in the box for 6 months from the date of purchase, for manufacturing defects. Keep your invoice, as Samsung asks for it at its authorised service centres.
