The Samsung Galaxy F06 5G in Bahama Blue has a ripple-pattern back with a vertical camera strip, and it is 8 mm thick and 191 g. The 6.7-inch (17.13 cm) HD+ PLS LCD refreshes at up to 90Hz for smoother scrolling, and the phone supports 12 5G bands for the networks of Indian operators.

Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and the second SIM slot also takes a microSD card of up to 1.5TB. The 50MP main camera uses an f/1.8 lens and works with a 2MP depth camera for portraits, while the front camera is 8MP. Voice Focus filters background noise on calls, and Quick Share sends large files to nearby devices.

A 5000mAh battery supports 25W wired charging, though only a USB Type-C cable comes in the box. Samsung promises 4 generations of OS upgrades and 4 years of security updates. Keep in mind that the screen is HD+, the phone has one loudspeaker, no NFC and no IP rating from Samsung, and video tops out at Full HD and 30fps. A 3.5mm headphone jack is included.

Use the ejection pin from the box to open the SIM tray and fit one or two nano-SIM cards, or one nano-SIM and a microSD card. Charge with the USB Type-C cable and a compatible USB Type-C charger, as no charger is in the box. Switch the phone on and use Samsung Smart Switch during setup to copy apps, photos and contacts from your old phone.

Samsung India covers the phone for 12 months and the accessories in the box for 6 months from the date of purchase, for manufacturing defects. Keep your invoice, as Samsung asks for it at its authorised service centres.
