The Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 in Black are open-type wireless earbuds with active noise cancelling and a metal blade on each stem. An 11 mm wide-range speaker covers controlled bass through to clear highs, and with a supported Galaxy phone the Samsung Seamless Codec carries 24-bit/96 kHz audio. A 9-band equaliser lets you set bass, treble and tone, and the sound adapts to your fit.
Adaptive ANC tunes the noise cancelling to how the earbuds sit, and Adaptive Noise Control balances it with ambient sound as your surroundings change. Six microphones and Super Clear Call keep your voice clear on calls. Pinch the blade to play, pause or skip, swipe it for volume, and on One UI 8.5 nod or shake your head to answer or decline a call.
Samsung rates up to 5 hours of music with ANC on and up to 30 hours in total with the case and ANC off, and the case also charges wirelessly. There are no silicone ear tips, so the seal is lighter than on the Buds 4 Pro. The earbuds are IP54 rated for splashes and dust. An iPhone connects only as basic Bluetooth audio, and no cable is included.
Charge the case first with a USB Type-C cable (not in the box). Open the case near a Samsung Galaxy phone or tablet with Bluetooth on and tap Connect on the pop-up. On One UI 8.0 or later you manage the Galaxy Buds 4 from the phone's settings and Quick Panel; on earlier One UI versions and on other Android phones (Android 12 or later) use the Galaxy Wearable app, which needs a Samsung Account. On other devices, including an iPhone, pair them from the Bluetooth settings as standard Bluetooth earbuds.
Galaxy Buds 4 earbuds, Charging Case and Quick Start Guide. A USB Type-C cable and power adapter are not included.
Samsung India covers Galaxy Buds for 12 months from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects, with repairs carried out at Samsung authorised service centres. Keep your invoice, as Samsung asks for it with every warranty claim.
