The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 in Silver are open-type wireless earbuds with active noise cancelling and an angled blade design shaped from 3D ear data to sit comfortably without ear tips. An 11 mm speaker with an amp-enhanced diaphragm gives a fuller sound, and with a supported Galaxy phone the Samsung Seamless Codec carries 24-bit/96 kHz audio.
Adaptive ANC and Adaptive EQ use the inner and outer microphones to tune the sound to your ear shape and how you wear them. Pinch the blade to play or pause, swipe it to change the volume, and pinch and hold for noise control or Interpreter. 360 Audio adds a surround effect on Galaxy phones, tablets and selected Samsung TVs, and Auto Switch moves sound between Galaxy devices.
Samsung rates up to 5 hours of music with ANC on and up to 30 hours in total with the case and ANC off; the case also charges wirelessly. With no ear tips, the open fit lets in more outside sound than in-ear models, and there is no ambient sound mode. The earbuds are IP57 rated, but the case is not water resistant, and an iPhone connects only as basic Bluetooth audio.
Charge the case first with a USB Type-C cable or a wireless charging pad. Open the case near a Samsung Galaxy phone or tablet with Bluetooth on and tap Connect on the pop-up. Settings such as the equaliser and noise control are in the Galaxy Wearable app (Android 10 or later), which needs a Samsung Account. On other devices, including an iPhone, pair them from the Bluetooth settings as standard Bluetooth earbuds.
Samsung India covers Galaxy Buds for 12 months from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects, with repairs carried out at Samsung authorised service centres. Keep your invoice, as Samsung asks for it with every warranty claim.
