The Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 in Graphite are lightweight in-ear wireless earbuds with active noise cancelling and 2-way dynamic speakers for deep bass and clear treble. Each earbud weighs 5 g, and three sizes of soft silicone ear tips help you find a secure fit. The case is white outside with a Graphite interior, and the earbuds use a low-profile shape that sits close to the ear.
Samsung says the ANC cuts background noise by up to 98 percent, and ambient sound has three levels you can set in the Galaxy Wearable app. Three microphones and a voice pickup unit in each earbud, plus machine learning noise filtering, help on calls, and the low-protrusion design reduces wind noise outdoors. Six equaliser presets let you change the sound, and Auto Switch moves the connection between your Galaxy phone, tablet and Galaxy Watch.
Samsung rates up to 5 hours of music with ANC on from the earbuds and up to 20 hours in total with the case. Samsung India does not list a water rating, so keep them away from water. Settings need the Galaxy Wearable app on an Android phone, and an iPhone connects only as basic Bluetooth audio.
Charge the case first with a USB Type-C cable (one is in the box). Open the case near a Samsung Galaxy phone or tablet with Bluetooth on and tap Connect on the pop-up. Settings such as the equaliser and noise control are in the Galaxy Wearable app (Android 7.0 or later), which needs a Samsung Account. On other devices, including an iPhone, pair them from the Bluetooth settings as standard Bluetooth earbuds. Medium ear tips are fitted; swap to small or large if the seal is loose.
Galaxy Buds 2 earbuds, Charging Case, ear tips in three sizes (S, M and L), USB cable and Quick Start Guide. A power adapter is not included.
Samsung India covers Galaxy Buds for 12 months from the date of purchase against manufacturing defects, with repairs carried out at Samsung authorised service centres. Keep your invoice, as Samsung asks for it with every warranty claim.
