Samsung plans 6 generations of OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates, and Samsung Knox Vault protects sensitive data.
The Samsung Galaxy A36 5G smartphone in Awesome White has a white glass back with a holographic effect that changes with the light. Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ covers the front and back. It is 7.4 mm thick, weighs 195 g and is rated IP67 for dust and water.
The 6.7-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display runs at up to 120Hz and reaches 1200 nits in high brightness mode, and there are stereo speakers. The Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 works with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. On the back are a 50MP main camera with OIS that records 4K video, an 8MP ultra-wide and a 5MP macro, and the 12MP front camera records 10-bit HDR video. It launched with One UI 7 on Android 15, and Samsung plans 6 generations of OS upgrades and 6 years of security updates.
There is no charger in the box, only a USB Type-C to C cable, so you need a 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0 adapter for full speed. There is no memory card slot, no headphone jack and no FM radio. IP67 covers fresh water up to 1 metre for 30 minutes, not swimming or pool use.
Use the ejection pin from the box to open the SIM tray; the Galaxy A36 5G takes two Nano-SIMs and has no memory card slot. Samsung does not include a charger, so pair the USB Type-C to C cable with a USB-C adapter; the phone supports 45W Super Fast Charging 2.0. Switch it on and follow the on-screen steps, and use Smart Switch to copy your apps and data from your old phone.
Galaxy A36 5G, USB Type-C to C data cable, ejection pin and quick start guide.
Samsung India covers the phone for 12 months, and in-box accessories such as the data cable for 6 months, from the date of purchase. Repairs are done at Samsung authorised service centres, and the purchase invoice is needed to claim.
