Description

The Samsung Galaxy A06 5G in Light Green is 8 mm thin and weighs 191 g. Its 6.7-inch HD+ PLS LCD screen runs at up to 90Hz. Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and a microSD card of up to 1.5TB fits in the second SIM slot. Samsung Knox Vault keeps PINs and passwords in separate secure hardware.

The back has a 50MP main camera with autofocus and a 2MP depth camera for portraits, and video records in Full HD at 30fps. The front camera is 8MP. Voice Focus cuts background noise on calls. It launched with Android 15 and One UI 7, and Samsung India promises 4 generations of OS upgrades with security updates until 31 March 2030.

The 5000mAh battery supports 25W fast charging over USB Type-C, and there is no charger in the box. It is rated IP54 for splashes and keeps a 3.5mm headphone jack. The screen is an HD+ LCD panel, there is a single speaker, and adding a memory card means giving up the second SIM.

Setting up

Use the ejection pin from the box to open the SIM tray. Fit one or two Nano-SIMs, or one Nano-SIM and a microSD card, as the second slot is shared. Charge with the USB Type-C cable and a compatible charger, as none is in the box. Switch the phone on and use Samsung Smart Switch during setup to copy apps, photos and contacts from your old phone.

In the box

Galaxy A06 5G, USB Type-C to C data cable, SIM ejection pin and quick start guide. No charger is included.

Warranty

Samsung India covers the phone and battery for 12 months and the accessories in the box for 6 months from the date of purchase, for manufacturing defects. Keep your invoice, as Samsung asks for it at its authorised service centres.
