Samsung AKG Tuned IC100 Type-C Wired Earphones - White

Samsung's Type-C Earphones (EO-IC100) in White are tuned by AKG and use 2-way speakers, an 11 mm and an 8 mm driver in each earbud, for clear, balanced sound. The USB-C plug has a built-in DAC, and Samsung says the design separates left and right channels up to 10 times better than 3.5mm headphones.

The in-line remote has volume up and down buttons and a play button that also answers and ends calls, with a microphone for calls. The fabric cable resists tangling in a bag or pocket, the earbuds are light at 18.35 g in total, and the box includes S, M and L ear tips. Impedance is 32 ohm and frequency response 20 Hz to 20 kHz.

Samsung lists them for Galaxy phones and tablets that have no 3.5mm jack, such as the Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Note10 and Galaxy Tab S6. They have no active noise cancellation, and they will not work with a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Plug the USB-C connector into your phone or tablet; no app or pairing is needed. Pick the ear tip size that seals best (S, M or L). On the remote, use the top and bottom buttons for volume and the middle button to play, pause and answer or end calls.
