The Realme P4x 5G smartphone in Lake Green is built around a 7000mAh battery and MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G, a 4nm chip with eight cores running at up to 2.6GHz. Realme adds a 5300 square mm vapour chamber and bypass charging, which powers the phone from the charger while you play. The battery charges at up to 45W with the charger and cable in the box.
The 6.72-inch FHD+ LCD runs at up to 144Hz with touch sampling up to 240Hz and reaches 1000 nits in high brightness mode. This model has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and it launched with realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15. On the back is a 50MP main camera with a 2MP monochrome camera that records 4K video at 30fps; the 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The body is 8.39 mm thick and weighs about 208 g, with a reinforced aluminium inner structure that realme drop tests from 1.5 m. Worth knowing: IP64 covers dust, rain and splashes but not dunking in water, there is no ultra wide or telephoto camera, the screen is LCD rather than AMOLED, and there is no headphone jack.
Use the SIM ejector tool from the box to insert one or two Nano-SIM cards. Charge the phone with the charger and USB cable supplied. Switch it on and follow the on-screen steps to sign in and copy your apps and data from your old phone.
