Rasasi Hawas Ice Eau De Parfum for Men, 100 ml

Hawas Ice joined the Hawas family from Dubai house Rasasi in 2023. Where the original Hawas is warm and sweet, Ice turns the temperature down: Rasasi describes it as a crisp, aromatic and aquatic version of the scent, built for heat rather than for cold evenings.

The opening is bright and juicy. Frosted apple leads, with Italian bergamot and lemon adding a sharp citrus edge and star anise giving a faint, cool spice in the background.

As it settles, plum and orange blossom bring a soft fruity floral heart, while Ceylon cardamom and a marine accord keep it fresh and airy. The base is clean rather than heavy: moss, driftwood, amber and musk give it a smooth woody finish that stays close to the skin.

The bottle keeps the familiar Hawas shape, a rounded rectangle of glass that fades from pale lilac to icy blue, topped with a white cap textured like snakeskin. The carton carries the same snakeskin window in silver.

It suits warm weather best. Most wearers reach for it in spring and summer, and it works well for daytime, the office and casual plans.

Spray from about 15 cm onto pulse points such as the neck, wrists and inner elbows. Apply to clean, moisturised skin and let it dry without rubbing, which can dull the top notes.

Keep the bottle in its box, away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity. A cool, dry cupboard is better than a bathroom shelf. Close the cap after each use.
