The OPPO F35 5G in Wave Blue has a light blue back with a wave-inspired 3D texture that shifts softly as it catches the light, a slim horizontal camera deco and an 8.8 mm body that weighs about 205 g. Its 8000mAh battery charges at up to 80W with the SUPERVOOC charger in the box, and OPPO quotes 1% to 45% in about 30 minutes and over 80% capacity after six years of daily charging.
OPPO rates it IP66, IP68 and IP69, adds an IP69K rating, and drop and impact tested it based on MIL-STD-810H methods. The 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen runs at up to 120Hz with 1400 nits in high brightness mode and a 1.67 mm bezel. On the front is a 50MP ultra-wide camera with autofocus for group selfies, and on the back a 50MP main camera with a 2MP mono lens.
Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 6360 MAX with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and the phone takes a storage card. It runs ColorOS 16. Video tops out at 1080p until OPPO's promised 2.5K update, Wi-Fi is Wi-Fi 5, and there is no NFC, no eSIM and no headphone jack.
Use the SIM ejector tool from the box to open the SIM tray and fit up to two nano-SIM cards, and a storage card if you want more space. Charge the phone with the charger and USB cable from the box, switch it on and follow the setup steps. OPPO's Clone Phone app can copy contacts, photos and apps from your old phone.
