The OPPO F31 5G in Cloud Green is made for long days and rough handling. Its 7000mAh battery goes from 1% to 55% in about 30 minutes on the 80W SUPERVOOC charger in the box, and OPPO says it keeps over 80% of its capacity after five years of daily charging. A 4,300 sq mm vapour chamber helps keep it cool during games.
OPPO rates it IP66, IP68 and IP69, and its 360-degree Armour Body went through drop and impact tests based on MIL-STD-810H methods. The Cloud Green model has a soft titanium-grey finish with a fine grain and a mirror-silver shimmer. It is 8.0 mm thick and weighs about 185 g. The 50MP main camera has autofocus and an Underwater mode for fresh water, with a 2MP mono lens for portraits and a 16MP front camera.
Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage, and the phone takes a storage card. It runs ColorOS 15 on a 6.57-inch AMOLED screen that reaches 1400 nits. Video tops out at 1080p, Wi-Fi is Wi-Fi 5, and there is no NFC and no headphone jack.
Use the SIM ejector tool from the box to open the SIM tray and fit up to two nano-SIM cards, and a storage card if you want more space. Charge the phone with the charger and USB cable from the box, switch it on and follow the setup steps. OPPO's Clone Phone app can copy contacts, photos and apps from your old phone.
OPPO F31 5G, charger, USB data cable, SIM ejector tool, protective case and quick guide.
OPPO India covers the phone with a 12-month standard warranty. Keep your invoice, as OPPO's authorised service centres ask for it.
