The OPPO F29 Pro 5G in Marble White is built to take knocks and water. It is rated IP66, IP68 and IP69 against dust and water, and OPPO says it passed 14 MIL-STD-810H lab tests, from heat and cold to sand and shock. The Marble White model has a starry white glass fibre back with a layered, marble-like texture, and it is 7.6 mm thin and about 180 g.
The 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED screen curves on all four sides, runs at up to 120Hz and reaches 1200 nits under Gorilla Glass Victus 2. Inside is the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Energy with 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, running ColorOS 15. The 6000mAh battery charges at up to 80W and reaches 45% in about 20 minutes. The 50MP main camera has OIS and records 4K video, and the selfie camera is 16MP.
Water protection covers fresh water only: OPPO allows underwater photos down to 1.5 m for up to 30 minutes, and damage beyond those limits is not covered. The second rear lens is 2MP monochrome, with no ultra-wide. There is no headphone jack, OPPO lists no memory card slot, and 4K video stops at 30fps.
Use the SIM ejector tool from the box to open the SIM tray and fit up to two nano-SIM cards. Charge the phone with the charger and USB cable from the box, switch it on and follow the setup steps. OPPO's Clone Phone app can copy contacts, photos and apps from your old phone.
