Launched with Nothing OS 2.6 on Android 14, with Nothing's launch promise of 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches.
The Nothing Phone (2a) Plus 5G smartphone in Black has a metallic finish on the back and Nothing's Glyph Interface, rear lights that can show chosen contacts and notifications, a timer and the volume level. It measures 161.7 x 76.3 x 8.55 mm, weighs 190 g and is rated IP54 for dust and water resistance.
The 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED screen has a 1084 x 2412 resolution, refreshes at up to 120Hz and reaches 1300 nits at peak. The Dimensity 7350 Pro 5G runs at up to 3.0GHz with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The rear cameras are a 50MP main with OIS and a 50MP ultra-wide, the front camera is also 50MP, and all three record 4K video at 30fps. It launched with Nothing OS 2.6 on Android 14.
The 5000mAh battery charges at up to 50W, to full in about 56 minutes by Nothing's figures, but no charger or case comes in the box. There is no optical zoom, headphone jack or eSIM, and IP54 covers dust and splashes, not submersion. Nothing promised 3 years of Android updates and 4 years of security patches at launch, and it no longer lists this phone on its India store.
Use the SIM tray ejector tool from the box to insert one or two Nano-SIM cards; the phone has no eSIM. The screen protector comes pre-applied. A charger and a case are not included: the phone charges at up to 50W with a compatible USB-C charger, sold separately. Switch the phone on and follow the on-screen steps to sign in and copy your data from your old phone.
Nothing Phone (2a) Plus, Nothing Cable (USB-C to USB-C, 100 cm), Phone (2a) Plus Screen Protector (pre-applied), SIM tray ejector tool, and safety information and warranty card.
Nothing India covers the Phone (2a) Plus and its battery for one year from the date of invoice, with parts and labour, for phones bought in India from Nothing's authorised sales channels. The screen protector is not covered. Claims need the original invoice, the IMEI and photos of the fault, through Nothing Customer Service at in.nothing.tech.
