Nokia 5710 XpressAudio Dual SIM Keypad Mobile Phone - Black

The Nokia 5710 XpressAudio keypad phone in Black is a music phone made by HMD, with a pair of wireless earbuds built into the body. Slide down the cover on the back and take the earbuds out to listen; put them back and they charge from the phone. A 2.4-inch QVGA screen sits above the numeric keypad, next to dedicated play/pause, fast forward and rewind keys.

The MP3 player plays songs from a microSD card of up to 32GB, sold separately, and the wireless FM radio plays through the earbuds or the two loudspeakers, and HMD says the earbuds also work with other devices. It takes two Nano-SIM cards with 4G and VoLTE calling, and has Bluetooth 5.0, a 0.3MP camera with an LED flash, and Snake, Tetris and other games.

This is a feature phone, not a smartphone: HMD lists no Wi-Fi or app store, storage is 128MB and the camera is only for basic snaps. It charges over Micro USB and HMD lists no 3.5mm headphone jack. Talk time is rated at up to 6 hours on 4G, and VoLTE calling depends on your operator. HMD no longer sells this model.

Switch the phone off, put your fingernail in the small slot at the bottom of the phone and lift off the back cover, then take out the battery if it is in. Slide open the SIM holder, place a Nano-SIM and lock it; add a second Nano-SIM in the SIM2 slot and a microSD card in the memory card slot if you have them. Put the battery back, slide down the earbud compartment cover, refit the back cover and slide the earbud cover up again. Charge the phone over Micro USB, then press and hold the power key to switch it on.

Take the earbuds out of their compartment to switch them on, then select Menu, Earbuds, TWS connect and choose Nokia XpressAudio Earbuds. Press the touch switch on either earbud to answer a call and press and hold it to reject or end one. During music, press twice for the next song and three times for the previous one. Put the earbuds back in their slots to charge them from the phone.
