The Motorola Edge 70 Pro+ in Pantone Chicory Coffee has an FSC-certified wood finish. It is 7.34 mm thin and weighs 190 g, with Corning Gorilla Glass 7i on the front, IP68 and IP69 water protection and MIL-STD-810H testing. The 6.8-inch Extreme AMOLED screen shows 2772 x 1272 pixels at up to 144Hz, with HDR10+ and up to 5200 nits peak brightness.
All three rear cameras are 50MP: a Sony LYTIA 710 main camera with f/1.8 and OIS, an ultra wide with a 122-degree view that also takes macro shots, and a periscope telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom, OIS and up to 50x Super Zoom. The front camera is also 50MP with autofocus. Video goes up to 4K HDR10+ at 60fps.
Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme with 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of UFS 4.1 storage. The 6500mAh battery is rated for up to 29 hours of video playback. It runs Android 16 with up to 3 years of OS upgrades and 5 years of security patches. Worth knowing: the 90W charger is in the box but a wireless pad is not, there is no headphone jack, and the USB Type-C port runs at USB 2.0 speed.
Use the SIM tool from the box to open the SIM tray and fit one or two nano-SIM cards. Charge with the 90W TurboPower charger and USB Type-C cable supplied. Switch the phone on and follow the on-screen steps to sign in and copy your apps and data from your old phone.
