The Marshall Willen II is a compact portable Bluetooth speaker finished in Black and Brass, measuring 100.5 x 100.5 x 43.4 mm and weighing 360 g. A 2-inch 10W full-range driver works with two passive radiators in a sealed cabinet, and a slightly larger frame than the first Willen gives it more bass. It plays in mono from 75 Hz to 20 kHz.
Marshall rates the battery at more than 17 hours per charge, and 20 minutes on a USB-C charger adds about 5.5 hours. The IP67 rating means it is dust tight and can sit in 1 m of water for up to 30 minutes, and the rubber strap across the back lets you hang it almost anywhere. Bluetooth 5.3 keeps two devices connected at once, and the built-in microphone turns it into a speakerphone.
Marshall calls the Willen II LE Audio-ready, meaning the hardware is prepared for Auracast sharing. It lacks the first Willen's Stack Mode, so it cannot play in sync with other Marshall speakers. There is no 3.5 mm AUX input, no Wi-Fi and no voice assistant, and no charger comes in the box. Its 88 dB maximum suits a small group more than a party.
