The Marshall Stockwell II is a compact portable Bluetooth speaker with a silicone exterior, a solid metal grille and flush corner caps. It measures 161 x 70 x 180 mm, weighs 1.38 kg and has a detachable carry strap. It is rated IPX4, so it can take splashes and rain, but it should not be rinsed or dropped in water.
Three Class D amplifiers give 20W in total: 10W for a 3-inch woofer and 5W each for two 2-inch full-range drivers, one at the front and one at the back. Marshall calls this True Stereophonic sound, rated 60 Hz to 20 kHz and 80 dB at 1 m from a bass reflex cabinet. Brass knobs on top set volume, bass and treble.
Bluetooth 5.0 reaches up to 10 m and keeps two phones connected at once, and a 3.5 mm AUX input takes a wired source. The battery lasts 20+ hours at medium volume, 20 minutes of charging gives about 6 hours, and the USB-C port can also top up a phone. It has no microphone or app support, and its 80 dB ceiling suits a room or a small group more than a big party.
