- Three Class D amplifiers, 1 x 50W for the woofer and 2 x 15W for the tweeters, for 80W in total.
- Outward-angled tweeters with updated waveguides widen the stereo sound; the bass-reflex cabinet is rated 45 Hz to 20 kHz and up to 97 dB at 1 m.
- Bluetooth 5.2, ready for Bluetooth LE Audio, with a range of up to 10 m (30 ft), and two phones or tablets can stay connected at the same time.
- Two wired inputs: a 3.5 mm AUX socket on the top panel and an RCA stereo input on the back for a CD player, TV or turntable with a phono preamp.
- Analogue volume, bass and treble knobs, a Source button, a power switch and a media control that plays, pauses and skips tracks.
- Dynamic Loudness adjusts the tonal balance at every volume, and the Marshall Bluetooth app adds EQ, placement correction and over-the-air updates.
The Marshall Stanmore III is the mid-sized Bluetooth home speaker in Marshall's third-generation home range, between the Acton III and the Woburn III. It is 350 mm wide and weighs 4.25 kg. The Brown cabinet has a vegan leather-like covering, a woven grille, the Marshall script logo and brass knobs.
Inside, a 50W amplifier drives the woofer and two 15W amplifiers drive tweeters that point outwards through updated waveguides, so the stereo sound spreads wider than on the Stanmore II. The bass-reflex cabinet covers 45 Hz to 20 kHz and reaches 97 dB at 1 m. Bluetooth 5.2 reaches up to 10 m and two phones can stay connected at once. A 3.5 mm AUX input sits on the top panel, and an RCA input on the back takes a CD player, a TV or a turntable with a phono preamp.
There is no battery, so the speaker stays plugged in, and it has no microphone, Wi-Fi or HDMI input. It cannot be paired with a second speaker in the app, though Marshall's Heddon hub, sold separately, can stream to several Stanmore III speakers. The Marshall Bluetooth app for Android and iOS adds EQ, placement correction and software updates.

Expected more bass for this price honestly. Also there's a faint hum coming from speaker even when idle, kind of annoying at night. Build feels solid though.
Been using this for about 3 weeks now, bass hits way harder than I expected for something this size. Only gripe is the app crashes once in a while but doesn't affect the speaker itself. Would buy again tbh
