The Marshall Mode USB-C are wired in-ear earphones with a mic, made for phones, tablets and laptops that only have a USB-C port. They plug in and play with no drivers, app or charging, and custom-tuned 9 mm dynamic drivers give the full, balanced Marshall sound with rich bass, clear vocals and crisp detail.
A 3-button remote sits on the tangle-resistant cord, which is designed to keep its shape so it is ready when you grab it. The middle button plays, pauses and skips tracks, answers or rejects calls and wakes your phone's voice assistant, while the outer buttons change the volume. Marshall redesigned the built-in microphone for cleaner calls with less background noise, and four ear tip sizes from S to XL help you find a comfortable seal. The pair weighs 18 g.
The plug is USB-C only, with no 3.5 mm plug or adapter in the box, so your device needs a USB-C port that carries audio. On computers play and pause usually work, but the volume and track buttons depend on the system. There is no noise cancelling, sound customisation or water resistance rating.
Pick the ear tip size that fits snugly but comfortably; it is normal to use a different size in each ear. To change a tip, pull it off the earbud, then pinch the new one and press it on. Plug the USB-C connector into your phone, tablet or laptop and the earphones work straight away, with nothing to pair or charge. If there is no sound, check the volume, unplug the earphones for 3 seconds and plug them back in, and make sure your device supports USB-C audio. To clean them, unplug them and wipe them with a lint-free cloth slightly damp with water or 70% isopropyl alcohol; never rinse them under water.
