JBL Quantum 100 Wired Over-Ear Gaming Headset with Detachable Mic - Black

The JBL Quantum 100 wired gaming headset uses 40 mm dynamic drivers tuned for JBL QuantumSOUND Signature, with a 20 Hz to 20 kHz frequency response for game audio and voice chat. One 3.5 mm plug carries sound and mic to a PC, Mac, PlayStation or Xbox controller, Nintendo Switch, phone or VR headset.

The voice-focus boom mic is directional, so it favours your voice over room noise, and it pulls out of its 2.5 mm socket when you only want to listen. A mute button and a volume control sit on the left ear cup. At 220 g with memory foam cushions, the headset stays light over long sessions, and the ear cups turn flat for storage. On Windows 10 PCs and Xbox One it works with Windows Sonic spatial sound.

This is a basic wired model with no battery, Bluetooth or RGB lighting, and JBL QuantumENGINE software does not support it. The frame is mostly plastic. Reviewers rate the mic well for the price, but find the bass heavy and the ear cup controls easy to bump when putting it on. PCs with separate headphone and mic sockets need a Y-splitter, which is not in the box.

Push the boom mic into the 2.5 mm socket on the left ear cup and fit the foam windshield if you want it. Plug the 3.5 mm jack into your PC, laptop, phone or Nintendo Switch, or into the 3.5 mm socket on your PlayStation or Xbox controller; there is nothing to charge, pair or install. Use the volume control and the mic mute button on the left ear cup. If your desktop PC has separate headphone and mic sockets, add a 3.5 mm headset Y-splitter, sold separately. For spatial sound on a Windows 10 PC, turn on Windows Sonic for Headphones in the sound settings.

Harman India gives JBL products bought from an authorised Harman dealer in India a one-year limited warranty from the date on the invoice. Defective parts are repaired or replaced free of charge at an authorised Harman service centre; Harman does not give refunds on warranty claims. Log a request with JBL India customer support first, and keep the original invoice, as every claim needs it. Physical or accidental damage, batteries and buttons that wear with use, accessories such as charging cables and power adapters, and repairs by anyone other than an authorised service centre are not covered.
