The JBL Live Beam 3 true wireless noise cancelling earbuds use 10 mm dynamic drivers tuned for JBL Signature Sound, with Hi-Res Audio Wireless over LDAC on supported phones. True Adaptive Noise Cancelling uses four noise-sensing microphones to adjust to your surroundings, and Ambient Aware or TalkThru lets outside sound in. JBL Spatial Sound widens films and games.

The charging case has a 1.45-inch touchscreen for volume, EQ, noise cancelling, music, calls and message alerts, so you can change settings on a laptop, TV or phone without the app. Each earbud lasts up to 10 hours with ANC on or 12 hours with it off, the case takes the total to 48 hours, and 10 minutes over USB-C adds about 4 hours. The case also charges wirelessly. Six beamforming microphones handle calls, and multi-point links two devices.

The stick design is not shaped to the ear as closely as rounded buds, so fit depends on the silicone tips. Reviewers rate the noise cancelling as good but behind flagship models, with nearby voices still faintly audible. Turning LDAC on locks out Spatial Sound. Google Finder and Audio Switch need an Android device. IP55 covers sweat, rain and dust, not swimming.

Charge the case before first use with the supplied USB-C cable and your own 5 V adapter, or place it on a wireless charging pad; a full charge takes about 2 hours. Open the case and select JBL Live Beam 3 in your phone's Bluetooth menu; the quick start guide shows how to pair another device. Install the JBL Headphones app for noise cancelling levels, Spatial Sound, Personi-Fi 3.0, EQ, touch gestures, the earbud finder and firmware updates. The case touchscreen changes volume, EQ, noise cancelling and music without the app, and multi-point keeps a phone and a laptop connected at the same time.

Harman India gives JBL products bought from an authorised Harman dealer in India a one-year limited warranty from the date on the invoice. Defective parts are repaired or replaced free of charge at an authorised Harman service centre; Harman does not give refunds on warranty claims. Log a request with JBL India customer support first, and keep the original invoice, as every claim needs it. Physical or accidental damage, batteries and buttons that wear with use, accessories such as charging cables and power adapters, and repairs by anyone other than an authorised service centre are not covered.
