JBL Live 780NC Wireless Over-Ear Noise Cancelling Headphones - Orange

The JBL Live 780NC wireless noise cancelling headphones use 40 mm dynamic drivers tuned for JBL Signature Sound, with Hi-Res Audio certification for wired and wireless listening. True Adaptive Noise Cancelling 2.0 recalibrates in real time as the noise around you changes, and Ambient Aware or TalkThru lets outside sound in. JBL Spatial Sound adds a 3D effect to stereo tracks.

Bluetooth 6.0 brings LE Audio, Auracast sharing through the JBL Headphones app, LDAC on supported phones and multi-point links to two devices. Calls go through two beamforming microphones with an AI-trained noise filter. The battery lasts up to 80 hours with ANC off or 50 hours with it on, and 5 minutes of charging adds about 4 hours. The 260 g frame folds on metal hinges.

Some owners find the clamping force firm and the headband padding thin over long sessions. The ANC is strong for the price but lets more voices and high-pitched noise through than the best flagship models. JBL lists no water resistance rating, so avoid rain and sweaty workouts. The box has a soft pouch, not a hard case, and no USB-C charging cable; the JBL Smart Tx transmitter is sold separately.

Charge the headphones before first use with your own USB-C cable and adapter; a full charge takes about 2 hours. Slide the power switch on and select JBL Live 780NC in your phone's Bluetooth menu; the quick start guide shows how to pair another device. Install the JBL Headphones app for noise cancelling levels, Spatial Sound, Personi-Fi 3.0, EQ, control settings and firmware updates. Multi-point keeps a phone and a laptop connected at the same time. For wired listening, plug the supplied USB-C to 3.5 mm cable into the ear cup and your source.

JBL Live 780NC headphones, USB-C to 3.5 mm audio cable, carrying pouch, warranty and safety sheet, and quick start guide. No USB-C charging cable or power adapter is included.
