The JBL Live 770NC wireless over-ear noise cancelling headphones use 40 mm drivers tuned for JBL Signature Sound, and Spatial Sound turns stereo into a virtual surround effect for films and games. True Adaptive Noise Cancelling listens through four noise-sensing mics and adjusts as the noise changes. Smart Ambient adds Ambient Aware and TalkThru, so you can catch an announcement or chat without taking them off.

JBL quotes up to 65 hours of music with ANC off and 50 hours with it on, and 5 minutes on charge adds about 4 hours. Bluetooth 5.3 multi-point keeps a phone and a laptop connected, and two beamforming mics handle calls. On Android you can set up hands-free Hey Google or Alexa in the JBL Headphones app, which also adds EQ and Personi-Fi 2.0 tuning. The detachable 3.5 mm cable gives wired listening, even with the headphones switched off.

A full charge takes about 3 hours, and no power adapter is included. Noise cancelling and the Ambient modes need the headphones switched on, even when wired. JBL gives no IP rating, so keep them out of rain and gym sweat, and the pouch is soft fabric rather than a hard case.

Charge the headphones before first use with the supplied USB-C cable, which plugs into the left ear cup, and any 5 V, 1 A USB charger (not included); a full charge takes about 3 hours from empty. Slide the power switch on the right ear cup to on, then pick JBL LIVE770NC from your phone's Bluetooth list. Android phones with Google Fast Pair and Windows PCs with Swift Pair show a connect pop-up instead. To pair a new device later, hold the Bluetooth button for 2 seconds. To add a second device at the same time, press the Bluetooth button once and pair it as normal. Connect the free JBL Headphones app to enable the ANC, Ambient Aware and TalkThru controls and the hands-free voice assistant, and to set the EQ, Spatial Sound and Personi-Fi 2.0. For wired listening, plug the supplied audio cable into the right ear cup and into your device's 3.5 mm socket.

Harman India gives JBL products bought from an authorised Harman dealer in India a one-year limited warranty from the date on the invoice. Defective parts are repaired or replaced free of charge at an authorised Harman service centre; Harman does not give refunds on warranty claims. Log a request with JBL India customer support first, and keep the original invoice, as every claim needs it. Physical or accidental damage, batteries and buttons that wear with use, accessories such as charging cables and power adapters, and repairs by anyone other than an authorised service centre are not covered.
