- AI Vocal Removal works in real time on any song the speaker plays, lowering the original vocals by 25%, 50% or 100% from a button on the mic or in the JBL One app.
- Two handheld wireless microphones, each with a 16 mm electret (ECM) capsule, a 50 Hz to 15 kHz frequency response and a 59 dBA signal-to-noise ratio.
- USB-C AI dongle plugs into a compatible JBL PartyBox and links both mics automatically over 2.4 GHz with AES-128 encryption, with no Bluetooth pairing needed.
- Built-in EasySing processing adds high-pitch support, natural reverb and feedback suppression, while a shock mount and pop filter cut handling and breath noise.
- A 240 mAh Li-ion polymer battery in each mic gives up to 10 hours of singing; 10 minutes of USB-C charging adds about 1.5 hours, and a full charge takes under 3.5 hours.
- Works with the JBL PartyBox Encore 2, Encore Essential 2, On-The-Go 2, Club 120, Stage 320, 520 and 720, with a quoted wireless range of up to 30 metres.
The JBL EasySing Mics are two wireless karaoke microphones made for JBL PartyBox speakers. A small AI dongle goes into the speaker's USB-C port and both mics link up on their own, with no Bluetooth pairing. Press the vocal removal button on a mic to lower the singer on any song by 25%, 50% or 100%, or set the level in the JBL One app, which also adds EQ presets, reverb and echo.
Each 195 g mic has a 16 mm electret capsule, a shock mount that cuts handling noise and a built-in pop filter. EasySing processing adds pitch support, natural reverb and feedback suppression. The 2.4 GHz link is AES-128 encrypted, with a quoted range of up to 30 metres. A charge lasts up to 10 hours, and 10 minutes on USB-C gives about 1.5 hours.
The mics only work with the PartyBox Encore 2, Encore Essential 2, On-The-Go 2, Club 120, Stage 320, 520 and 720. They are not Bluetooth mics for a phone, TV or PA system. Update the speaker's software in the JBL One app first. No USB cable is in the box, and vocal removal is for personal, non-commercial use.
Charge both mics through the USB Type-C port at the base of each one, using a cable and a 5 V charger of your own; JBL advises an adapter rated no higher than 5 V, 0.5 A, and a full charge takes under 3.5 hours. Update your PartyBox's software in the JBL One app. Press the power button at the base of each mic, then plug the AI dongle into the speaker's USB-C port, and the mics connect automatically with no pairing. Use the + and - buttons to set the mic volume, and the vocal removal button to step through 0%, 25%, 50% and 100%. The JBL One app adds EQ presets, reverb and echo. To reset a mic, hold its power button for more than 10 seconds.
2 EasySing microphones, 1 AI dongle (USB-C), 2 microphone holders, 1 USB to USB-C adaptor, quick start guide and safety sheet. JBL's quick start guide states that no USB charging cable is included, and no power adapter is supplied. The PartyBox speaker is sold separately.
