The JBL Cinema SB510 is a 3.1 channel soundbar with the subwoofer built into the bar, so there is no second box to find room for. It puts out 200W in total: 150W through three 45 x 80 mm racetrack drivers, one of them a dedicated center channel for voices, and 50W through a 70 x 88 mm built-in woofer. Dolby Audio decoding handles TV and film soundtracks.
Setup takes one cable. The supplied HDMI cable goes to your TV's ARC port, and with HDMI-CEC turned on the TV remote controls power and volume. An optical input covers older TVs. Bluetooth 5.3 streams music from a phone or laptop, and the remote has Movie, Music and Voice modes plus five bass levels. The bar is 950 mm wide and 67 mm tall, and a wall-mount kit comes in the box.
This is a simple bar. It has no Wi-Fi, app, voice assistant or HDMI input, and it does not support Dolby Atmos. The USB port on the Indian model is for service only. Owners like the bass and dialogue in small and medium rooms, while some find vocals in music less clear than on bars with a separate subwoofer.
