HMD 101 4G Dual SIM Keypad Mobile Phone - Dark Blue

The HMD 101 4G keypad phone in Dark Blue is a small, light feature phone for 4G calls and mobile data. A 2-inch QQVGA colour screen sits above big, easy to press keys, the body is rated IP52 against dust and dripping water, and a removable 1000mAh battery charges over USB Type-C.

It takes two Nano-SIM cards and keeps both on standby. HMD's Cloud Phone Service puts online shortcuts for news, cricket results, entertainment and social networks in one place. The MP3 player plays music from a microSD card of up to 32GB, and a torch, Bluetooth 4.2, a 3.5mm headphone jack and the classic Snake game are built in. HMD rates the battery for up to 625 hours on standby and up to 8 hours of talk time.

This is a basic phone for calls, messages and music, and it has no camera on the front or the back. Storage is 24MB, so music needs a microSD card (sold separately), and the Cloud Phone Service uses mobile data. HMD lists no Wi-Fi or app store, and its specifications do not list an FM radio.

Put your fingernail in the small slot at the bottom of the phone, lift off the back cover and take out the battery if it is in. Slide a Nano-SIM into the SIM slot and, for a second number, another into the SIM2 slot. Slide in a microSD card if you have one, then put the battery and cover back. Charge the phone with the charger and USB Type-C cable from the box and switch it on with the power/end key. To set the date and time, select Menu, Settings, Phone settings, Time and date.
